Stir and drain in one motion while the rice stays in the vessel. Washing rice stops being a two-handed balancing act over the sink with half of it going down the drain.

- Rice stays in the vessel, not in the sink
- Long handle keeps hands out of cold water
- Fine holes hold grains, let water through
- Also drains dal, pulses and pasta
- Hangs on a hook, dries fast
